Welcome to a quiet space
The past few years have been a period of massive societal change that has profoundly touched us all at a fundamental level – our lives have changed significantly, from the way we connect with friends and family, the communities we exist in, the way we live, and the way we work. Meditation can help us find that quiet space within, to navigate the world outside.
It’s a super challenging world out there
As the boundaries between work and home have become increasingly blurred, we need to find new ways of living whole, integrated lives.
It has left us feeling uneasy, out of balance and discombobulated…we need to find our pause…
Do you...
What if it could be different?
Imagine if, in the midst of a charged moment, you could take a breath, pause…access the quiet space within, and hold onto your seat – to have a moment to be more certain to say the right thing, make the right decision, find grace and calm?
Imagine if you had a way to still the rattle of thoughts in your mind.
I passionately believe that everyone can find and access their own quiet space by learning the time-tested tools and techniques. We all have the capacity to meditate, with training & practice.
Meditation was my go-to survival toolkit for over two decades in investment banking. It helped me cope with the pressure of constant delivery, consistent intensity, high performance standards, and the need to juggle. I probably would not have had such an enduring career without the mental clarity I discovered through meditation.
In the beginning I searched for and tried different techniques, and struggled, thinking there was something wrong with me, as I just couldn’t get my mind to be quiet. A dozen years ago, I started studying as a student of the Himalayan Tradition, and I discovered that by learning to manage and focus breath, and practicing relaxation techniques, meditation was unlocked for me. My practice started off with 5 minutes on the tube, followed by a self-reward of reading a novel, on my way to work.
Later, recovering from significant physiological injury, challenges with pain management and burnout, I truly began to appreciate the power of these techniques, and began to dive ever-deeper into practice. I learnt to take better care of me. Until our well of energy is replenished and managed, running on empty only drains the tank and drives us into overdraft.
I share a systemic approach to meditation, gifting you with the tools and techniques so that you can design a practice that works for you, offering you support along the way.
My approach is simple – we focus on how to breathe, relax and meditate.
